Jackson leads software development within RMI’s Climate Intelligence program, where he architects open-source products that empower decision makers to assess climate risk and shape their response to the energy transition. He has played a central role in scaling PACTA, delivering technical leadership across projects with the US Treasury, European Central Bank, and Swiss government.

Background

Before RMI, Jackson helped build climate alignment tools at the 2° Investing Initiative, leading software used by institutions like Citi, ING, and UBS. Earlier, he conducted research in experimental cosmology and particle physics, contributing to detector systems used in the Atlas experiment at CERN and machine learning methods later applied to the James Webb Space Telescope.
